Convenience links - these three links make it easier to use the application:
- Send Feedback - click to send comments to the site administrator.
- Create Return Schedule - click to create a schedule for the other direction, using the same locations.
- Revise Original Entries - use this link to change some of the settings on the entry page, without having to start over and enter everything.
Summary of your entries - The page shows a summary of your entries. Check the locations carefully. If you chose a location from the options on the Uncertain Location page, what you picked is displayed. The area (ZIP code or city) is shown for verification. Use Revise Original Entries if something is not correct.
Download as - shows the two ways to download the results, with a link to more information.
PDB (Palm OS) links to a .pdb file. You must have a reader application compatible with this format on your PDA in order to view it.
To install a .pdb schedule on your PDA:
- Create a Point to Point Schedule.
- Click the ".PDB (Palm OS)" link on the results page.
- When prompted, save the file to an appropriate location on your computer.
- Send the file to your handheld device using the vendor-provided software.
Open the document in the pdb-compatible application you have installed on your PDA. The following describes several .pdb compatible readers that are either free or free for a trial period: (all are external links):
.TXT links to a text file which you can view in any program capable of reading .txt files, including your web browser. This file is the easiest to print.
To put a .txt trip plan on your PDA:
- Create a Point to Point Schedule.
- Right click the ".TXT" link at the top of the results page, rename and save the file to an appropriate location on your computer.
- Send the file to your handheld device using the device's vendor-provided software.
Open the document in the txt-compatible application you have installed on your PDA.
Note that you can also save results as a web page (HTML file) using your browser's "Save As" menu option and view it using your PDA's web browser, if one is available.

Point to point schedules - Your Point to Point Schedules are shown next. Each route is listed separately, unless they serve the same stops at both locations.
- Start Stop - the actual bus stop near the starting location for the route listed. For detailed stop information, click on the stop name.
- End Stop - the actual bus stop near the ending location.
- Route - The route or routes used, with the sign displayed on the vehicle
- Times are listed in order. If more than one route serves the stops used, they are all listed in time order. If a route uses different stops, it is listed separately.
- Routes are linked to their timetables. When you see the phrase "continues as" or "ends as," the starting bus changes signs during the trip and part of it is shown on a second timetable.
- Click the Check for reroutes link for information about reroutes for Metro-operated service.
