Trip Planner Tips - Reading a trip plan

When you request a trip plan you may receive up to three alternative itineraries. You may want to evaluate them all, since some locations have a variety of service.

This is the first option the Trip Planner has found that satisfies your requirements.

How to walk from your starting location to the starting bus stop. If the walking information is in color and underlined, click on it to see detailed walking instructions.

Depart QUEEN ANNE AV N & W JOHN ST

This is the name of the bus stop where you board your first bus. Click on it to see detailed stop information, such as its location.

At 04:22 PM On Route MT 2 Madrona Park

This is the time your bus is scheduled to depart the starting stop and the Transit agency, number and destination sign of the bus as displayed above the windshield of the bus. To view the timetable for the bus, click on the bus number. For a list of the Transit agencies, see Who's Who.

Arrive 3 AV & UNION ST

This is the name of the stop where you leave your first bus. If your trip uses only one bus, it is your last stop. If your trip requires more than one bus, you must ask for a transfer when you pay your fare. For more information about transfers, see Fare Information.

The time you are scheduled to arrive at the stop.

The name of the stop where you'll board your next bus, if your trip has a transfer.

The scheduled departure time, Transit agency, number, and name of your next bus, if any. Some trips use more than two buses. Click on the bus number to go to the timetable for the route. For a list of the Transit agencies, see Who's Who.

Arrive EVERGREEN WY & 79TH ST SE At 05:41 PM

The name of the stop where you leave the bus and the time it is expected to arrive at the stop

Depart EVERGREEN WY & 79TH ST SE At 05:54 PM

The stop where you board your next bus, if any, and the time it is scheduled to leave the stop.

Arrive BROADWAY & 13TH ST at 6:13 PM

The name of the stop where you leave the bus and the time it is expected to arrive at the stop.

Walk 0.4 mile W to 1310 HOYT AVE

How to walk to your destination from the last bus stop.

Regular Fare, Senior/Disabled Fare

The fare for the trip. Regular fare is the cash fare for an adult. For more information on what to pay and when to pay fares, see Fare information.

The Trip Planner may provide as many as three itineraries.

Note: If your trip includes travel on Washington State Ferries or Sounder commuter rail service, you'll be using ferries or trains and ferry terminals or Sounder stations instead of buses and bus stops for that part of your trip.
