The Trip Planner combines transit information from these agencies. You will see the shortened name by itself or beside routes in the Trip Planner response pages. Click on the Agency name in this list to go to the Internet Home Page for the agency.
Disruptions, Special Events, etc.
Please consult the agency operating the transit service for information about policies, local fares and passes, lost and found, disruptions to service, and service for special events.
Regional fares and transfers
The transit service offered by the Trip Planner is operated under a regional fare and transfer agreement. Under this agreement, the fare you pay for transit service provided by most of the participating agencies is good toward the fare due upon transferring to another of the agencies. Its value varies according to the circumstances of the transfer. Please read the section about fares and transfers when your itinerary includes transferring.
The South Lake Union Streetcar, Washington State Ferries, and the Seattle Center Monorail are not part of the agreement. Pay your ferry or monorail fare in addition to the transit fare. See the fare and transfer section for streetcar fare and transfer considerations.
Trip Planners on other sites
Pierce Transit and Community Transit also offer Trip Planners on the Internet. There are differences between the Trip Planners, but they all use the same combined set of information, so that you get consistent responses to your queries, regardless of which one you are using.
